Holiday Travel

With yesterday being the busiest travel day of the year and tomorrow being Thanksgiving in the US, everyone is thinking about travel. Where are we spending the Holidays? What if we take a vacation for Christmas?

Quebec City
The magic of twinkling lights, snow and century buildings in Quebec.

I have often thought about travelling with the kids for the Holidays. If you know me, you know that I am a proud Canadian, but hate the cold and snow of winter! I would much rather sun, warmth, and green grass. However, the snow at Christmas time can be so beautiful and magical.

So, how do you choose where to go? Or do you stay home? We all think about that one statement… “There is no place like home for the holidays”.

However, I think that families, couples, and singles can all find a beautiful place to visit and see new Holiday traditions come alive.

I have put together this photo list of beautiful places to visit (including the photo of Quebec). I know there are a few on my travel bucket list!

New York City
Radio City Music Hall, New York

Lapland, Finland

Turks and Caicos

These are just a few of some particularly beautiful places that bring Christmas alive, and/or allow you to create your own brand new traditions.

Tuscany
